I own the "Horror Classics" region 2 AB dvd of this.Can anyone tell me why DVDCompare says its a bad copy?

DVDCompare never said it was a bad copy. I know 'cuz I went there. Infact the UK disc won the overall on the count of the 5.1 track. But we in the US have the original mono.

Nail, this is what DvdCompare said about the release I have.
There is also a vanilla release available from Anchor Bay UK under there 'Horror Classics' label which should be avoided.

I am pretty sure that the reason this was said was because some of the 'horror classics' labels have been missing the special features present on the initial release. I own the Madman 'Horror Classics' release and it does in fact contain all the features...although the packaging does not mention it.

I don't know. Remember, Anchor Bay titles were limited as well for Madman, and they did very well before.
