Wow, that trailer made it look a hell of a lot cooler then the teaser did. I am actually looking for ward to this now!

That trailer looks fun, might just grab the Blu if it's cheap enough. Great cast.

Ugh! For the last time that "teaser" wasn't a teaser but a promo reel.

Trailer was great. Looking forward to picking it up.

i remember seeing the original on fearnet a while back. seems like they're really running out of movies to remake, they've remade all the mainstream ones.

I really liked the remake a lot...

Very fun, cool music, cool effects, gorgeous babes...

And the best part of the movie...
Linnea Quigley cameo is the best i?ve seen. Made me watch the original again.

The lipstick scene was gross, but I prefer that scene in the original.

Preordered it on Blu from Amazon. Didn't want to risk Best Buy not having it.

Hopefully it's good. I love the original.

Saw this a few nights ago. I thought the first half was good but it kind of fell apart after that for me. The cinematography wasn't great either and really made it feel cheep in my eyes. I'm not buying this one.

When they run out they'll just start at the beginning again, and remake the remakes they just made.

Same here, and I'll have mine from Amazon on Tuesday.

Normally I'm not too excited about remakes, but this is one that I am. Ever since reading an extensive article (and interviews) in some British horror 'zine about the remake, it's intrigued me and I've been eager to see it.

Here's a review of the Blu-ray: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Night-.../13174/#Review

I just finally saw this (netflix). I really liked some aspects, and really disliked others.

What I liked: the scene at the beginning where the woman hangs herself - I had never seen it done quite like that, and was surprised, a little horrified, and impressed at the idea. The lipstick scene was nicely overdone - I don't know if it improves on the original lipstick scene, but good job (and the guy's reaction afterwards was exactly right) Shannon Elizabeth was also pretty good.

What I didn't like so much: that they're adults instead of teenagers. The scene where they discover the "rules" to the demons (ugh - that always smacks of dumbing things down for the audience, which I hate - Scream excepted). And the special effects with the fast motion head shaking were just dumb (it worked in Army of Darkness... not so much here).

But, overall I enjoyed it - I don't prefer it to the original, but it wasn't a bad remake.

Pretty much agree. Those head shaking effects were pretty bad. The Demons didn't get a lot of screen time either IMO.

The demons had plenty of screen time.
