I actually liked the second one better then the first when I watched it for the first time last Oct. Mind you, I am not a huge fan of the first film, I think it is largely overrated and that the bookends of the film were better then the rest of it. I have the third one, guess I'll have to watch it this Oct.

I kinda like the 3rd one. I do have all 3 on DVD, but it's not that bad. I just watched the remake of Day Of The Dead about 5 days ago. When I first saw the DVD cover, I thought it was going to be a lame movie, it was actually a really good movie, so good that I want to buy it in DVD.

I'll have to check the second one out. It's looks like it has some decent effects and seems fun. The third is just a waste of time.

It is the weakest, but I still enjoyed it, surprisingly. Love 1 and 2.

I completely agree. I can't believe they've delayed this a whole year. The director wants us to believe it's not due to the quality of the film but I call bullshit. If that's not the reason then what is? It'd be nice if he justified this statement by telling us what the hell is going on.

This was meant to come out October last year yet here we are in March still waiting. I want to know why they need an extra year before releasing this?

Yep. it will definitely be part of the remake. I heard it took many hours to film the scene. Castings, the whole works. No cgi, but we will never really know until the final product.

And the release date is supposed to be:

drum roll....

The website for distributor E1 Entertainment has confirmed that Adam Gierasch's remake of Night of the Demons is going to make its DVD and Blu-Ray debut on October 19.

I couldn't really give a shit about it any more. I have no expectations so I'm going to watch it with really low hopes. Hopefully I'll be entertained by it. I never expected it to hit cinemas anyway.

Has anyone heard any rumors at all on a special edition dvd or blu ray for the original? I was really hoping we would get one....

I'm looking forward to this still. I really like parts 1 and 2. Haven't seen the third one yet.
