the music for happy birthday to me on the dvd didn't bother me at all mainly because i probably only seen it once when it was on vhs i got it on dvd right before it went OOP...

now the music for return of the living dead part 2 is another story i am still hoping for a corrected dvd from warner bros but that will never happen!

same here the original is still one of my favorite horror films ever the sequel stuck with me when i was younger and the music for me was the best thing i liked about the sequel so when it was replaced it just made it terrible i am glad i still have the vhs as well as the shitty dvd

You're right Zombie Dude, thanks for the help. My problem is with the press release though. It's so vague. Press releases are created to sell the product yet Lions Gate appears to purposely not be advertising the most attractive aspect of the upcoming DVD - it's uncut status.

I do admit it is weird that 'UNCUT' isn't plastered over the thing. Everything I've read seems to point to it being uncut though.

That'll be great. I will not wait to buy this, either (as I have still not aquired THE UNSEEN, DON'T GO IN THE WOODS and a few other Code Reds which I have in my Netflix Q).
I want this release to have legs, but I also want it to be a hit.

I've been worried about this release lately..

Seeing as how many DVD's are being discontinued now on account of Blu-Ray taking over, do y'all think this film is even going to get released? Or are they going to wait to put it on Blu-Ray? (If Code Red decides to take on the new format). It looks like we might not even get this film till the end of this year...

God I hope they don't can it...

Wow. I didn't know Blu was so popular. I mean, I know it looks better than DVD, but it isn't THAT big a jump. :| Rarg. Hopefully CR holds in there.
