My DVD copy of Night of the Demon is from "Saturn Productions" whatever that is. When you start it up though it says "Passion Pictures" with some animation gliding up to an iceberg of sorts. Regardless, it definitely looks and sounds like a straight up VHS dub. I think I paid like $2 for it last year.

I've actually watched Bloodstalkers last night. It was very good and sort of falls into the bigfoot category, but not really. It's also a slasher to some extend, and a hillbilly/swamp/backwoods type of terror flick. It's many things and I really enjoyed it.

I liked BloodStalkers until the end - a bit of a let down if you ask me. Cool creepy atmosphere though.

It's available through the director himself,Robert W Morgan at TheBloodstalkers@aol.com if you are looking for a copy. He's also in Myserious MOnsters and In Search of Bigfoot. I think he was telling me last time he just got the rights to In Search of Bigfoot.
Can't wait for that Curse of Bigfoot DVd rellease from Alpha.

If anyone from Code Red is reading this, I'm with this guy. Put it out and I'll buy it on the release date, then turn a bunch of people on to it.

Calling Screams Of A Winter Night (1979) a bigfoot movie might be stretching things. There is talk about bigfoot, and we get to see a hairy creature but this film is not about Sasquatch. Still, not a bad movie. Drawing Flies (1996) is all about bigfoot but then again, not really. Five dope-smoking roommates cut off from welfare lost in Canada's great outdoors searching for the big hairy one. But all they find is moose poop and friendships shattered. Funny and foul-mouthed, with shades of insanity. This was like The Blair Witch Project minus the scary stuff. Enjoyed it.

Clawed: The Legend Of Sasquatch (2005) - My final bigfoot sighting this week This one only delivered partially however. The bad was not fun and the cheese was too little. There are a few scenes of blood and gore but that wasn't enough to make it a thrilling movie. I guess its watchable with a few beers though. Not great, but there is worse out there.

Two new Bigfoot related films have been announced over the past week.

Refuge: This is the story of a town terrorized by a Yeti. Sam Raimi is producing. Hopefully this'll not be as bad as many of the Ghost House Pictures.

Savage: A wildfire in a national park causes animals to leave their natural habitat, including a Sasquatch. This one stars Lisa Wilcox (Nightmare on Elm Street 4 & 5) and Martin Kove (the original Karate Kid).

I just picked up the new DVD of Bigfoot (2006) that Troma released on 3/30. Unless you're an angry Bigfoot die-hard like me I'd recommend that you stay far away. The movie is amateurish at best and the disc is as technically laughable as other full-frame Troma releases. I got a couple laughs out of the terrible acting, lame kills, and piss-poor production values. But don't expect much. It makes Night of the Demon look like Jaws by comparison.

Has anybody seen The Wildman of Navidad? At least I think that is what it is called. I was wondering if it was worth a purchase or not.

I was wondering that myself. I kind of like the trailer.
