First off, no one should have attempted a remake on Halloween. It's one of the best and the most noted Halloween or horror movie. The remake just sucks with all its twists and humanizing the Myers character. Black Christmas remake might be bad but it's still watchable if not for the good casting of Katie Cassidy, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Crystal Lowe's scenes are crazy too. I believe I broke the tie on the poll! |

I really liked the Black Christmas remake. It was pretty insane but in the best possible way. I prefer remakes who take the original story and do something...different with it.
The Halloween remake was ok. I just much prefer Black Christmas. The Fog remake is probably the worst remake. Prom Night was light and mindless but also not completely offensive. The Fog was pretty much painful to get through. |

if any halloween needed remade it should've been part 3 (but that is a good movie) - i only say this because they could've done alot to flesh out how Michael lived after so many point blank shots and being burnt to a crispy fritter. I think Doc Loomis experimented on him trying to find the source of the evil and that's what gave him healing abilities??? Did Loomis give him Soy Sauce?

As bad as it is I do have a soft spot for Black Xmas. I love the christmas atmosphere of the movie and cast o' hotties. the last 15 minutes of the movie completely destroy it.
