Just for our enlightenment, what are the factual inaccuracies?

I don't believe the film was released "direct-to-video", as the review states. I strongly recall seeing a theatrical newspaper ad when I was a child visiting my grandparents in the Des Moines area circa 1988. Their farm was surrounded by cornfields, and I remember being creeped out by the scarecrow image in the advertisement.

I love this movie and its dark, nightmarish atmosphere. So glad that it's getting a standalone release with special features. I do wonder, however, what the status is with its onetime co-feature Destroyer (1988)?

Holy Crap! When did this get announced...

Easy Money/Men at Work Double Feature

I thought Shout wasn't releasing comedies anymore because they didn't sell well?

Well there you go, there's another mistake.

I was actually referring to the mention of Dark Night of the Scarecrow as a 70s TV movie.
