Yeah, Body Count is really entertaining
One of the few slashers from the latter half of the 80:s that I really like.
That movie REALLY needs a BD release.
The old VHS transfer was a bit too dark at times.

I don't even suffer import duties and I can't afford to blind buy stuff.

You take the exchange rate and postage and I'm looking at $35AUD or more, and in reality, it's probably closer to $40, PER TITLE, just to see if a film is even worth watching!

That's half my weekly grocery shop!!

And then they go out of print so soon you wonder if it's even worth it.

I placed a good couple of orders two years ago but I've barely bought anything since. There's been some Diabolik orders in there too, but nothing from Amazon or DD for quite some time.

I've got Hide and Go Shriek on video. I have watched it, FTR, and I'll be fucked if I recall anything about it other than the cover!! It can't be that memorable. Has been a few years but. I haven't had a VCR set up for about 8 years or so.

Phenomenally shit? I think Body Count is one of the worst films from the period! Love the soundtrack and it's not inept by any means, it's just lacking logic and care. Their friends get offed and they go about their weekend as if nothing's happened? Seriously?

You're points are pretty much on the head. I can't afford those prices for stuff I may not even like.

I seem to remember finding Body Count rather entertaining. It has been a long while since I've seen it though.

Body Count is ridiculous, and somewhere in the third tier of 80s slashers, but its score and atmosphere is tops.

a DVD would please me too, a BD would be top

only hope that Arrow does it, to keep the price reasonable
