"Forgotten" Subgenre: The Biceps Slasher

While watching Freeway Maniac yesterday I noticed most of the male cast were beefy bodybuilder types. Kinda odd since there was no David DeCoteau involvement
Either way, it added to the unintentional hilarity which gave me an idea for this thread:

The Biceps Slasher

A few I can think of are Home Sweet Home (1981), Killer Workout (1987) and Posed for Murder (1989). Anyone wants to add to the list?

Are we just talking muscles/exercise here, or pure steroid rage?

Fatal Games (1984)

Death Spa (1989)

Either one is fine I guess.

I just remembered another oddity from yesteryear: Lou Ferrigno playing a psycho killer in the slasher-esque "Matt Houston" episode Blood Ties (1984).

Sledgehammer from 1983, and for something newer that looks like a possible candidate, Adam Chaplin.

* Sorry... didn't see this in the fine print on the first post. But enjoy the cover.

While I love the film, it's not for everyone. A word of warning to anyone who wants to venture down that dark path: it's unlike anything you have ever witnessed and is guaranteed to turn your brain into ice cream.

Indeed!

Demon Warrior (1988) - rare slasher/horror filmed in Houston.
