After an exhausting, weekend long inventory of my posters in plastic tubes I found this which had been misplaced and I feared had become lost after four apartment moves:

and the best part is this list of long gone movie houses at the bottom:

Oooh. That listing of theaters at the bottom is bad-ass. Get that thing framed, pronto. Find a good framing shop, and they'll minimize those folds. I have a folded Repo Man poster but you can only see the fold lines if you get really close up

Army of Darkness, Evil Dead 2 Limited Edition poster of 22/200, 2 separate Friday The 13th posters still sealed, and a signed Evil Dead remake poster, signed by Bruce Campbell. It was from the Ultimate Evil Dead contest a little over 1 1/2 years ago, and they loved my submission, and they said that they have something like a thank you for my submission. Right now it's still in the mailing tube. I will post pictures once they are framed.

That is good advice - thing is, I'm thinking of sending it back to my parents house in Reno and placing my best posters in a fire-resistant safe for the time being. We had an earthquake in SF area last month and lemme tell ya - the epicenter was far away but my building moved a little too much. I don't wanna lose my favorites if/when a larger one hits.
I did the inventory for that reason - and I'm shocked at how well my posters from the early 80's held up compared to some of the ones you see on Ebay from the same era.
Not sure if I posted this one already:

I'll have to get some pictures up, but I recently got two back from the framer: House of Whipcord, and Triple Irons. Triple Irons is a Shaw Bros. kung-fu flick from the 70s that is more commonly known as The New One-Armed Swordsman.

What was interesting is that I found them at Comic-Con in July, and they were originals. I thought they were reprints, because they were in mint condition, and there were several copies of each movie (and several other movies as well), and just $10 each. But the guy told me they bought a warehouse and there were stacks of posters that never got sent out. So, $20 later (and $129 in framing costs!), I have these vintage 70s posters.
