I've got the Brentwood version also like ekent. I'm probably gonna upgrade for the extras though. But the Brentwood transfer is actually not bad.

At the end of this review, it says how to get the subtitles on the Deodato inteview with a DVD-ROM drive. Apparently it is a technical fault.

Well, I finally had a chance to pop in this disc and watch the movie, and I must say it was FANTASTIC!! Really great! I knew I would like it, and I was pleasantly surprised to see I was right. Plus, the quality of SS's DVD is top-notch! Plus, I love the music in the movie, it made me wanna get up and dance!!

Well - next time you're having a party - put this movie on to bop too. I recommend doing it as the last dance.

from what i read, the Brentwood is uncut. not bad considering the price and transfer of the disc! i'm satisfied with it, but don't like the film enough to warrant an upgrade to the SS disc.

I really want this!

Awesome awesome review dwatts. I love HITCH-HIKE and LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT. I've been curious about this one, but hadn't really been able to find out much info until now. Didn't know it was part of an unofficial "trilogy".

Wild tidbit about Hess having actual sex.

Do you know if the dutch EC Entertainment is still being sold? Haven't found a store that sells it. It's supposed to be one of the best releases.

I wonder when will this one reach the HD format anyways.
