The transfer needs an massive upgrade. Also the 6.1 mix you are referring to has several unnecessary changes (removal of swear words, gun shot sound changes, etc).

If both are collector edition's it would be best to share the love on both formats.

That POD artwork might be the best yet from Shout. Can't wait for that one, always a real underrated Carpenter flick.

Not it will not. It will be the original mono sound. All the audio was restored during our transfer.

If I ever get a chance to meet Cliff, I am going to give him a big hug. This is wonderful news.

apparently Scanners II/Scanners III BD is only available in the US. Amazon.ca won't be carrying it at all, so you're forced to order it either from amazon.com or direct from Shout! Factory. Too bad. I placed a preorder on amazon.com.

Also, according to their facebook page, if you buy both Psycho II and III from Shout! (on either BD or DVD) you can get the Psycho Legacy documentary for only $5. I don't know how many people will be able to take advantage of that, since i would assume if you're in the target market for those BDs/DVDs then you've probably already picked up the Psycho Legacy doc. Decent price though, for those few who fit into both those categories.

I love the POD artwork.

The Day of the Dead is ok....way too busy though. And Frankenstein looks weird as does Bub's mouth...makes him look like something from a Twilight Zone episode...not my favorite cover art in this line.

Many of these would look fantastic in black Blu-ray cases, especially POD. Too bad those special cases are so hard to find.

Really? Where did you hear that from? That sucks if true! That will add like an extra $9 on to the price.

I saw the status on their website, so I messaged them on facebook and asked them about it directly. they got back to me the next day, and confirmed it. their rights for those films do not extend to Canada.
