Gonna get the entire trilogy
 I wish they also released part 4 and 5, also called as "Scanner Cop 1 and 2" over here in Europe.

I'll be waiting to see how the domestic Criterion and Shout blus compare. I imagine Criterion will be getting Cronenberg's involvement, which the Second Sight disc seems to be missing.

I think i'll wait for the Criterion one.But the steelbook is a big plus for the region free one!

Bad news folks, Second Sight just posted over FB their 3 Scanners releases are now region B locked!!! Oh well, I'll just wait for criterion and shout to come through.

Yep! The reason SS have had to lock their release is due to the Criterion version coming out.
It's been a not very well kept secret for about 6 months that it's coming soon, Around June I believe
