The directors of The Taint have put the full movie up on Vimeo to watch for free, but only for 4 more days. I already own the DVD/VHS and can recommend as psychotically brilliant and deranged comedy/horror.

I'm glad it was available as a free download as I had wanted to see this and I would have been pissed if I had paid money to watch it. It seemed like the type of movie I would have liked when I was younger and, to me, felt like something that a middle school aged kid with technical abiltiy would have made. The jokes were very juvenile and got stale very quickly for me. The gore and filming were well done and the acting is what is to be expected. It just became tough for me to stay with when it was just an hour long penis joke.

Appropriately, it looks like Troma grabbed this one and are putting it out in March. I haven't seen it, but the trailer definitely has me interested.

Hahahahahahahaha. Figures. I actually didn't care for it the first time I saw it. And somehow I ended up watching it 2 more times within a month, and I enjoyed it more each time. It's such a demented and truly funny masterpiece and satire, with an anti-misogny message if you can believe it.

I bought a DVD copy from the filmmakers themselves last year and fucking loved it.

It was self-released by the filmmakers. And they likely didn't have the money to invest in getting VHS covers printed or couldn't find a manufacturer. It did come with a black slip case though. The VHS were "clear" too, which mine is, and they also released some hand-painted editions. And from some digging looks like they also released some on green and blue tapes as well.

Very pretty but I am not paying $50 for that. Still it's very very pretty just too steep for me. By the way the art looks like a penis with 2 balls IMO.

Have you seen the movie? It probably is!

I received the BD yesterday, I'll probably pop it in tomorrow after work. It's a pretty cool packaging.
