That's true to an extent Dobby, but Madman is either not even listed on many major retailer's websites, or it's out of stock at the few that do. This has been the same for many other Code Red titles in the past. There's definitely something wrong with their distribution somewhere.

I gotta disagree though... I love using Amazon!

They even shipped two of my pre-orders via overnight this week (I have a Prime membership) so I'd get them on the release date.

99% of the time I don't have problems with amazon but for whatever reason they get hung up on certain titles and just never come through. Last Christmas my sister tried to order the "Silent Night, Deadly Night Parts 3-5" box set for me and they never did get it in stock. (They still only have it through 3rd party sellers.) But they continually e-mailed her basically suggesting she cancel the order because they didn't think they'd ever be able to get it. That was the impression I got from the e-mail telling me "Madman" was backordered - I actually had to go to my amazon account and confirm I wanted them to keep trying to fill the order and not just cancel it. If they don't want to try and fill orders why offer it through their website at all?

Weird, I've never had many problems with Amazon, but DDD is being shitty for me lately. I pre-ordered a ton of titles that were released this past Tuesday, and they still haven't shipped.

No estimate, just the notice saying my order would be canceled October 29 unless I told them to keep the order open. Didn't give me a lot of confidence it would be coming back in stock any time soon.

Just checked a second ago and now it says, Usually ships within 9 to 13 days.

...so, either they are now getting them quicker than they initially thought or just have a huge backorder line of folks like us.

How long do we think it'll be before this title goes OOP? Bill mentioned it wouldn't be around for long, and I don't think that was a scare/sell - tactic.
