....and this is why CodeRedDVD never posts here anymore

oh well, whatever...if they put it out, in any form, i'll buy it. i've bought 16 of their discs so far, with more down the line...how many have they officially released, anyway? i don't mean discs where they have some kind of tangential relationship with the content, like silent scream, but "official", numbered code red titles?

Good question dave. Not counting the scorpion licensing or the media blasters titles that came out after they left, I believe they have released:

-Beyond the Door
-Boardinghouse
-Can I Do It 'Till I Need Glasses?
-Choke Canyon
-Day at the Beach
-Dead Pit
-Death Journey
-Derby
-Devil Times Five
-Don't Go in the Woods...Alone!
-Doom Asylum
-Lonely Wives & Sorry, Wrong Bedroom
-Wacky Taxi & Superargo
-Fabulous Journey to the Center of the Earth
-The Forest
-Hot Moves
-Challenge the Dragon & The Needle Avenger
-Mean Johnny Barrows
-Messiah of Evil
-Night of the Dribbler
-Pets
-Revenge of the Bushido Blade, Ninja Strikes Back & Lady Street Fighter
-Running Hot
-Slithis
-Sole Survivor
-The Statue
-Stigma
-The Strangeness
-Stunt Rock
-Sweet Sixteen
-Teenage Hitch-hikers
-Trapped
-The Unseen
-Weekend Murders

TOTAL: 34 discs

+ street dated

-Alice Goodbody, Aug 17th
-The Dead Are Alive, July 13th
-Exterminators of the Year 3000, Sept 21st
-Horror High, Aug 10th
-A Long Ride from Hell, Aug 2rd
-The Night Child, Sept 7th
-Primal Rage, July 13th

ADDED TOTAL: 41 discs - 46 titles

-------

If you count Media Blasters titles, then it would be:

+

-Bad Girls' Dormitory
-The Chilling
-Curious Case of the Campus Corpse
-Girls in Chains
-Killer's Delight
-Love Me Deadly
-Riot on 42nd Street
-Scream
-Terror Circus

COMBINED TOTAL: 50 discs - 55 titles

I rest my fucking case. I, myself, know several people that speak Italian fluently. They ARE plentiful and aren't hard to find!!

Code Red is full of shit. Some great releases, but full of shit nonetheless.

And CHEERING SECTION/KING FRAT which was a Saturn release...and had one of the worst looking transfers I've ever seen on a DVD.

I love the Code Red DVD's I have and I actually have to buy some of their older releases (Don't Go in the Woods). Money is tight but I do plan on buying more titles. Of course, my way of purchasing doesn't help their pre-sales projections.

Exactly! Of my Italian friends, several are fans of this film and would be more than happy to translate the interview for FREE, so long as they see this thing get released once and for all!!

It's just more lies and bullshit. The more I hear their excuses, the more I'm starting to believe Deadpit.com's explanation as to why this release just doesn't seem to be happening.

So, CR has been burned twice by non-professional translators. They're wrong to not try and enlist some message board lurkers and their buddies?

That would be a great idea. Someone here who knows how to translate italian, contact Code Red. Also for the list, you forgot Madman.

Don't twist my words. I was merely proving that it's NOT hard to find someone who speaks Italian.

Unbelievable how many people have their tongues firmly inserted up Code Red's arse.

I believe Code Red is making fu of us...

Why is that every good horror company, at some point in time, turns into shit??? (Anchor Bay).

If Code Red has low sales is their own fawlt... Every DVD that is released gains more audience if it?s more accessible.
Example, put English subtitles (mute audience), put spanish subtitles (hispanic is the 2nd world language)... this is just a case where they should invest so they can get more comeback.
Put money if you want money...

Ok then. I won't twist your words if you don't put my tongue in someone's ass simply for disagreeing with you.
