Couldn't find anything in the forum search about this title. I have not seen it since i had an ex rental vhs of it. I used to like it except the ending. Anyone seen it recently? how does it hold up?
Ahhh dude here is my youtube video review for the movie!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlQ6BqWYWmQ
It holds up very well, except for the fact that it doesn't have an ending. I own the out-of-print widescreen DVD. I found it on a clearance rack at Borders several years ago. Great disc, though if I recall they goofed and put the wrong bonus featurette on it. Worth mentioning, this was filmed in the same house / barn as Friday The 13th Part 3 and Twisted Nightmare. Although reportedly, some idiot F13 fan accidentally burned the house to the ground a few years ago.
Oh nice, had you seen it before? I didnt know it got a widescreen home release. What wrong special feature did you get?
Omega Entertainment released a bunch of Niko Mastorakis films on bare-bones fullscreen DVDs (I got this version of The Wind). Then a few years later, they re-released them all in anamorphic widescreen with extras under the banner "The Niko Mastorakis Collection". There was a lengthy documentary called "The Films Of Niko Mastorakis" that was split into several parts and scattered across the DVD releases. The part that is mentioned on the back of the DVD case is a different number from the one that is actually on the disc. I think it was supposed to be the one that covered the production of The Zero Boys, but it isn't covered. Still, it's a pretty interesting featurette.
Was it the first time seeing it? I have a feeling I might not like it as much today, and the ending or lack there of always irked me years ago.
I watched it recently. Found the DVD at FYE for $3. It didn't hold up well for me. It starts out really good, but towards the end kind of falls apart.
