Sorry, I have ODD and probably won't if told to. Anyways, it was a joke which I guess you couldn't take. How was I to know, I'm sure if you search through my posts you can find plenty of things to poke and prod me with. Sorry again, and I hope I didn't cause you any harm with my random postings.
Hmmm very interesting topic. Let me post mine. 10 Nosferatu ( still chilling after all these years) 09 28 days later (good chiller from England) 08 The Wolf Man (The definitive werewolf movie) 07 Amityville Horror II ( Best of the sequels) 06 Night of the living Dead(best ending in horror history) 05 Friday the 13th Part 7 ( My favorite Friday film and best Jason costume) 04 The Last Man on Earth (personal fav Vincent Price flick) 03 Children of the Corn ( Can you go in a cornfield and not think of this film) 02 Dracula 1931 (Started the Universal Legacy and had best actor for the role EVER on film) 01 Scream ( You may not like the film but this is what brought horror films back into the limelight and showed the studios hey there is profit in these films. I never saw the big reveal coming and it single handedly made me a horror fan again. This film lead me to seeing The Exorcist,TCM,The Hills have Eyes and multitudes of other classics. Bela lugosi's Dracula was my introduction to Horror. Scream was my rebirth into the macabe.
I was actually being sarcastic, sorry. I should have put a silly smilie on the end of it but i was rushing it.

I have to say I forgot two important movies to me. Silent night deadly night and Black Christmas. These would both in my top 40 somewhere.
Don't you mean Quadrilogy? Anyhoo, I forgot to add Silence Of The Lambs to my list. How could I forget that.
Isn't Aliens SciFi anyway? Well I am going to say it is. If not, I have to redo my list to make room for it, and that is just too hard. It is my favorite SciFi movie damn it. Lists are so hard.
Nope. I meant what I said. I'm doing my best to forget about the 4th movie....though 1x1 has a good idea. Aliens is sci fi so I'm gonna take it off my list and put something else in instead!! *goes to edit list*
I always like participating in these threads. It is fun to see how our opinions gradually shift over time, since I remember there being at least two other threads of this nature. Still, I think we should take all the results from this, tabulate it, and then make a list of the top ten horror movies as chosen by the majority of votes. Should be fun.
