I had this idea from a post / image in the April Fool's Day movie topic. http://horrordvds.com/community/threads/april-fools-day-1986-blu-ray-aug-28th.48830/page-2 I noticed that there is one kind of similar topic but that was more than 15 years ago. Most of these are scenes I remember watching when I was a kid. My list right now: Friday the 13th Part 2 - Terry's night time swim scene When I was getting back into horror movies, a lot of the Friday the 13th scenes were kind of jumbled together in my mind. I knew that Part 6 was a good entry. And that there was a swim scene in the moonlight and that movie was also good. The nude swim is such a simple scene but it's still one of the best. Nightmare on Elm Street 4 - The Waterbed Scene I still think this is one of the wildest dream sequences in the series. I don't think waterbeds are around anymore. I remember they were popular in the 80s and I wanted one but never got it. But the hot girl from your pinup poster in your waterbed?! That's just awesome. Ghoulies - Unknown lingerie lady intruder at night This is another wild one. Hot older lady in lingerie that just happens to be in your house at night. You know something is wrong with that situation. Nightmare on Elm Street 3 - The hot nurse Who doesn't like nurses? And continuing the tongue horror theme. I think I saw Halloween 2 originally on TV so that nurse scene was edited. Halloween 3 - The shower scene A subtle scene. Many times I think slight nudity is better. I remember being amazed by this scene when I was a kid. I can't think of that many good modern horror scenes right now. The only one that I know I saved somewhere is the dance scene in the Friday the 13th remake. I'll never own the movie but I saved the scene because I thought it was hot. And better than the actual sex scene.
I was a teenager when I saw Friday Part 2 in the theater and still remember that scene even though I haven't watched the film since. The same is true of Belinda Balaski from The Howling and Jenny Agutter in American Werewolf in London. Today people would probably consider these scenes rather tame but there wasn't any internet back then so seeing nude/sexy scenes in the theater was memorable.
It's not really a horror movie, but who can forget the rollercoaster scene with Mark Wahlberg and Reese Witherspoon in Fear?
The car scene with Elise Richards from Trick or Treat (1986) Salma Hayek's introductory dance in From Dusk Till Dawn.
I did. I think I forgot that whole movie. I can't remember anything from it. I have this poster. I don't like From Dusk Till Dawn that much. I like the reveal of the club at the end. And I want to see the TV show. But there was something about that movie that I didn't like when I saw it in theaters. I still haven't seen those Beyond movies yet.
Well, there's also The Beyond, Beyond Re-Animator, From Beyond the Grave, Beyond the Darkness, Beyond the Door.....
I have the teaser one sheet which for some reason they are asking $500 for on Ebay. My favorite is the International Style which is the final photo.
I meant From Beyond and The Beyond. But apparently there are even more. But From Beyond and The Beyond are the two big ones I keep hearing good things about. Could be a low print run. Even though I assume there are fakes for just about any movie poster these days. That Frank Frazetta one is good.
Isn't there a scene with a pretty Asian girl in Night of the Demons? I'll check that later on. I did watch The Beyond a few days ago. I posted a few in my final watch list in the October watching topic. http://horrordvds.com/community/thr...atching-thread-2019.48862/page-18#post-863897
Cool. I might have to go back and watch the original again and compare it to the remake. I thought the remake was kind of good. But I remember noting that all the girls were wearing fishnets so that helped my review.
