When I think of "scary" in films, it's usually films that I saw when I was much younger. It's very rare that I would call a film scary today, but that's probably just age talking now. The "Vomit Creature" scene in Poltergeist II where it crawls on the floor and looks back smiling scared the shit out of me when I was a kid. The "Wheelchair" chase scene in The Changeling was also another one that gave the creeps. The invisible "Rape" scene in The Entity with Barbara Hershey (on the bed nude) was quite disturbing when I first saw it as a kid, and Stan Winston's effect seemed very real to me then.
Umm, The Burning, when Cropsy is chasing Alfred..... The first rape scene in The Entity The "GET OUT" scene in the original Amityville Horror The ending of The Final Terror.....
"Come and play with us Danny" - The Shining Hammer blow murder - TCM Zombies attack - The Beyond That Walk - Kairo Last shot - BWP Goblin on camera - The Descent
Have to say the scene towards the beginning of Friday the 13th Part 2, where Alice is at the window with a knife, and there is nothing but silence, and a cat jumps in the window. I screamed and about everybody else, including my mom, screamed.
Anything Shaquille O'Neal has been in. Frightening if you ask me. I agree but I'm talking about the Supermarket scenes in both Cobra and Stone Cold. SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
