NoShame has already released two solid gialli, THE CASE OF THE SCORPION'S TAIL and THE STRANGE VICE OF MRS. WARDH, and that looks to be only the beginning of their future genre output. Coming up next are a couple bloody crime pictures by Sergio Martino and Umberto Lenzi, and their fall slate has some more gialli, horror and animal attack films. So of all the ones on the list, which one are you looking forward to most?
"Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key" no way can that be a name of a movie.. you have got to be kidding?!
Definitely looking most forward to Big Alligator River. This is going to make a great surprise stocking stuffer for my little brother this Christmas. We used to watch this movie as The Great Alligator on late night television when we were kids in the early 80s. I have great memories of the two of us laughing hysterically at the horrible special effects and can't wait to finally see it again after so many years!
Your Vice - but really, Noshame is a breath of fresh air - a new label with quality euro material on their hands, great! I'll end up with everything they do, well until they start scrapping the bottom of the barrel.
Some of NoShame's releases seem to have the same problems as some of Shriek Show's release suffer from. Due to wrong PAL to NTSC conversion aparantly: Here's a shot from All The Colors Of the Dark: And here's one for The Strange Vice...: Although I have a widesceen tv and haven't noticed any of this,it seems it's noticeable when projected or on a monitor/LCD.
Wow. More Euro flicks I've never heard of. I hope that Blockbuster.com will stock them so that I can rent them first (like they did with the recent 4-disc Giallo set). I'm already considering the Blind Dead box set...and now that I don't have a steady income, I need to be a little more careful with my purchases.
The two Edwige Fenech titles Secrets of a Call Girl and Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key.
I'm very happy with my purchases of The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh and The Case of the Scorpions Tail, and hence looking forward to Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key. I'm also interested in Almost Human, will probably purchase that sometime in the future as well.
Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key ... just because I love '70s movies and long titles. I might check also Secrets of a Call Girl like meddle pointed out just because Edwige Fenech is in it.
