Now that we've had time to sink in the news that Scorpion will be bringing us a ton of much requested eighties home video staples later this year, tell us which one you're anticipating most. Is it the prospect of finally being able to decipher the last half hour of the darkly lit HUMONGOUS, or is it seeing Michael Ironside with hair in AMERICAN NIGHTMARE? Make a choice, Elliot!
HUMONGOUS, hopefully we will be able to make out the last part of the movie. I have really wanted this on dvd for a long time.
Humongous without doubt , a transfer one can see will be great Incubus and house on sorority row and final exam I have already, house in two editions the human experiments a second if that is the one where the girl get locked in "an asylum" I've only seen have of that on a used VHS which my machine proceeded to chow down on.
I want Humongous the most just because I like the cover and remember looking at it a lot in the video store as a kid. Never saw the movie and don't know anything about it though.
I just saw those poll results, everyone's hot for HUMONGOUS. I was torn, it was either HUMONGOUS or THE INCUBUS. In the end, THE INCUBUS won out. Loved that movie from first viewing, hated HUMONGOUS on first viewing, saw it a few days ago, for the first time since childhood, and now I like it. Will be getting both, however.
Humongous without a doubt.Icll be glad to add Final Exam to my collection also.I own House on.....on the elite dvd-r and a legit liberation dvd.
I've always wanted to check out The Carpenter, and remember the VHS very fondly growing up but I never ever did add it to the 7 movies for 7 days for 7 bucks deal... It just looks like a glorious slice of cheese I can't pass up any longer.
Definitely Humongous, but most of these interest me. I'll almost certainly rebuy The House on Sorority Row again for the new transfer and new features.
Been waiting for a long time to see a (hopefully) decent looking version of Humongous. I already have the original releases of the stuff that has been out before. I am really curious to see American Nightmare though.
Funny, now the Liberation House on Sorority Row dvd is everywhere again. A couple months ago no place had it on dvdpriceserach, except Wal-Mart. Today, dvdempire, amazon and bestbuy all have it for around $15. Sounds like I should check out Humongous. I think I saw it back in the day, but not positive. Already own House and Final Exam.
Keep your expectations reasonable. It is not very good (though not unwatchable either). It is also pretty lite on the horror element.
