Went with Black Christmas, but Silent Night Deadly Night is right behind it for being a sleazy classic.
Black christmas , though i also liked the one story with Joan Collins from the original Tales From the Crypt movie .
I'll have to say Gremlins. Excellent Christmas mayhem. I might need to slap that on Christmas morning.
Black Christmas is the best movie of the lot, but do I watch it during the holidays? Hell no. I am far too busy watching Silent Night, Deadly Night, so it gets my vote. Nothing says Christmas like Billy. Punish!
Not only does Black Christmas top the list. I wouldn't argue with anyone rating it in the top 10 horror films of all time period.
Black Christmas - I watch this gem every year at this time and it NEVER loses it's power. Granted, it may not be as effective if you watched it in July, but right now it truly delivers the shivers.
I'm not surprised that nobody has mentioned "To All a Good Night", a real piece of doo doo from the early 80's that had a couple of comical death scenes and a cool video box cover, but was otherwise pretty uninspired. Oh, and it had Jennifer Runyon, the Susan Olsen doppelganger who took her place in A Very Brady Christmas...
