Yeah I noticed that, but it would only be like a $2.50 difference then, and I don't know what the hell else I'd use the $5 coupon on before March.

I want it especially for the Mike McPadden commentary.

Shit. Yeah, I checked this morning...probably a few minutes after you posted this. And yeah, they're sold out again. Too bad.

That coupon is also good for anything that's on their "Staff Picks" section, just an FYI (which is what I used it for), so if you're caught up on the VS releases you can use it to save on the other labels releases they have on that section if there's anything of interest: https://vinegarsyndrome.com/collections/staff-picks

I usually just buy a couple extra clear Viva Elite Blu-Ray cases and use the $5 coupon for that.

I saw that the rights to the Rudy Ray Moore films may have expired, so there's a possibility when the remaining copies are gone, they're gone for good. I pulled the trigger on Petey Wheatstraw and Disco Godfather, the last two I need. Petey is below 100 copies left. I actually haven't even gotten around to watching Dolemite and The Human Tornado yet, so I'm taking a gamble that I'll even like the RRM films.

I wouldn't have had the slightest idea what you're talking about, except I watched Dolemite last night. I liked it. Not the best blaxploitation film I've ever seen (like, there were roundhouse kicks that were a yard off the mark, but still knocked their intended target off their feet). Enough that I want to see more. I'm glad I bought the other RRM films now.

^ I hate to state the obvious and I'm sure you've already seen it, but just in case: don't miss Dolemite Is My Name on NetFlix. Wonderful movie.

Paff, I know you're a fan of movies like Brigsby Bear and One Cut, so I'd be shocked if you don't love it.

I haven't seen it, and I was trying to decide if I want to see all the RRM films first. But yes, I anticipate loving it, because I also loved Badassss!, the story of the making of Sweet Sweetback.

I did half year and now full year (800 one) how do I know what’s not included without constantly checking the site. Second thanks for the heads up, I love Oliver reed and want to see this but I honestly subscribed so I wouldn’t have to work so hard to keep up on their and everyone else’s releases. Even more confusing HOU is in the stand alone January package so the fine print thing is tripping me out.

Hoping to see the Rudy Ray Moore biopic soon. If I miss it I will most assuredly be an American flightless bird aquainted with certain types of jazz dancing in the early 1920s.

Thinking of picking up a few VS titles - for anyone that has seen them how would you rank these three best to worst?
Graverobbers / Cemetery Of Terror / Don't Panic

Also have never seen Silent Madness - curious if any good in 3d?

I would put them in that exact order.

Although, I guess it depends what you're into. Don't Panic is a pretty shameless Elm Street rip-off, so if you're a fan of those, maybe that'll be your thing?

Silent Madness was just OK for me. Nothing I'd want to watch again but it had some ok moments. Seems more for the nostalgic though.

Don't Panic I couldn't finish. I think I watched at least half an hour, maybe more and pretty much nothing of interest had happened.

I can totally see how this happened. No one can go in hospitals right now except for the afflicted and staff, especially in the chaos in California hospitals right now. It is the same conditions fueling covid deniers: no one can get access to hospitals (which is appropriate yet can fuel erroneous speculation) and usually those nurse facillitated Zoom calls means someone is dying. Hope she recovers as its kinda cool and sweet to watch your own funeral and know how everyone "felt" about you.
