I added to two VSA titles to my subscription, even though neither looks especially great.

Excited for Blood Games! I sold my VHS at a profit recently as I was betting on this being one. Glad it paid off.

No reveals on the subscription page, but it does tease some never-on-disc 80s slashers coming this year.

I didn't think I needed too much and ended up spending over $300.00. I already have a yearly subscription too.

Candy Snatchers is the only film in my haul I've seen before.

    Post 'em up!

I'm pretty sure November is supposed to be all horror, so...

Along with RAD (whom VS gains my undying loyality for releasing) and the 2 "Secret" Pre-orders that I already pre-ordered back in March, I added these:

    Miniature Slipcovers Uninvited 1 $8.00
    [IMG]
Miniature Slipcovers Orgy of the Dead 1 $8.00
    [IMG]
    Miniature Slipcovers Incubus 1 $8.00
    [IMG]
The Scare Film Archives Volume 1: Drug Stories! [AGFA] 1 $24.99
    [IMG]
Night Train to Terror Limited Slipcover (slip only) 1 $7.00
    [IMG]
Punk Vacation Limited Slipcover (slip only) 1 $7.00
    [IMG]
The Psychic Killer Limited Slipcover (slip only) 1 $7.00
    [IMG]
Evils of the Night Limited Slipcover (slip only) 1 $7.00
    [IMG]
    Dr. Jekyll's Dungeon of Death 1 $24.99
    [IMG]
    L.A. Wars 1 $24.99
    [IMG]
    Patty Hearst 1 $24.99
    [IMG]
    The Immortalizer 1 $24.99

+ ordered an extra copy of RAD to give as a gift to a close friend. I had already emailed them and asked, and Chris gave the okay...plus John has stated on forums that you can order one extra copy of RAD in this case.

    + Halfway Package - 2020 v2 = HORROR & EXPLOITATION $350.00

I will probably add a few older titles in a separate order before the sale ends...

I'm intrigued by the mini slipcovers but it was hard enough pulling the trigger on the 4 new catalog slips. I'm out of work right now so it's hard to justify $7 a pop for cardboard covers but the collector in me couldn't say no. (Hoping work starts again this summer.) I'll probably keep checking the numbers for the minis and end up pulling the trigger later this weekend if they get really low.

I don't think this has been shared here yet:

That's understandable chance. I probably wouldn't have splurged if I didn't have some extra money right now at the opportune time. I just have always had a soft spot for things in miniaturization like this. I am interested to see what the "Each mini slip contains a special collectable item." will be? I'm guessing perhaps a magnet or possibly a mini-pin.

Also very cool that they are embossed. They must be selling well though, since each have already sold around half of the 500 each.

I can’t say any of these titles interest me all that greatly. I’ve blind bought a lot from VS, nothing here blows me away.

Damn I completely spaced and was an hour too late to get the Vice Academy's. And it seems like they lasted a little while too so I might have even had a chance. Oh well, I skipped it before because I could live without 'em. But I got an itch for it once it was OOP.

Otherwise I'm pretty caught up but managed to put together some knick-knacks to get to $50.49 only to realize they forego free S&H during sales so... I bought 'em anyways.

So they sold 4,000 copies of L.A Wars. Are you kidding me? Something is wrong. Telling me that porn title 2,500 is gone. No way in hell.

Oh well. Guess people are gonna have to buy that half way package to guarantee anything.

Edit: The site is temporary closed. Will be back online noon EST.

They are having inventory issues. Says, all new products are not sold out. I knew there had to be a mistake.

I picked up the Angel and Amityville box sets, thankfully I got to it at the stroke of 12:02 and snagged them. I see the Angel set is now sold out. I was actually stressing this sale haha

There was a site glitch related to the inventory, they took the site down temporarily this morning to fix - it just went back up about 10 mins ago so the "sold out" issue is fixed.

Picked up Dr. Jekyll's Dungeon of Death, L.A. Wars, a T-Shirt, and 2 dividers. Stayed under a $100, not too bad.(add to that I previously picked up the Everything flash sale) I was gonna pull the trigger for the Half Way Package, but decided not to. As we can see VS is very good at having things in stock on "new releases", today was just an odd error. The solid tradition of VS controlling scalpers is excellent.

Also, Old Dracula and Best Friends were deciding factors too. Two titles I'm not really into getting. Maybe... maybe Old Dracula. See, I'm all in on a fun mystery title or two, taking a chance a couple times a year. But I'm not doing that for 14+ titles imho. I rather see what they are first, take a chance on availability. Even the option to pick them up real cheap at other online stores (minus slips)

Ugh. I already know I'll be going back for more. I wish these sales only lasted for an hour instead of 4 days. A long weekend (during quarantine, no less) it's too tempting to go back and add to your order.

I already have most all their releases but it is always so exciting to speculate on these future release lists. Hoping for a silent madness 3d blu but with a red blue option on a dvd as well. I just get nostalgic with the red blue. That is a fun movie. Also would like to see Nelson Demille talk about padding the film out. You can tell which parts are "his", and they aren't anything to hide on a resume, honestly, as they take on the hot button topic of the time of deinstitutionalisation.
