Thank you. So Vice Academy and Savage Dawn are the other two new ones. VSA's. Ok thanks. Then the adult titles.
The last few years I was on the fence about getting a yearly subscription. I finally just went for it as I spend close to the $640 a year anyway on the titles that I hand pick. VS sent a $25.00 off coupon if you pre-ordered the Black Friday bundle so that was nice.
Also renewed my yearly subscription and nabbed the VSA titles with both subscriber coupons, as well as grabbed the Christmas Evil slipcover. They also had a new shipping option for Canada/International subscription customers (instead of monthly shipments you could also choose quarterly shipping [March, June, Sept, Dec] where you'd get three months worth packaged together) so I chose that as it knocked off another $100 from the Canada customer subscription, plus I have a stockpile of movies to watch already so I don't need them arriving every month to tempt me so this will force to me catch up on unwatched stuff a lot better.
It appears that next year i will be just buying the porn titles and malabimba thus far as I already have the rest of the titles. This is the year i hope for vin syn to get Silent Madness based on rumors about savage dawn rightsholddings, hopefully with a red/blue print in there and an explanation of how Nelson Demille got involved in script padding.
Are people on Blu-Ray.com complaining that they haven't received their orders yet? I only got 4 titles, and none really horror (unless you count the Last House on Dead End Street easter egg) Corruption A Climax of Blue Power Telephone Book Raw Force May get more, but over the next couple of days I'll be hitting some record stores, so we'll see how much money I spend there first before I add to my order
I'm debating ordering this one. I've always kinda just passed on it, but might pick it up with the new Slipcover before the sale ends. Can anyone recommend it?

I like it a lot, but it's not going to be for everyone as it's definitely more of an art film than sexploitation film though does appeal to both. If you're a fan of Putney Swope or anything of that ilk, you'll enjoy it though this is a little more straight forward than something like Putney Swope.
There are clips on youtube you can check out. One of my favorite scenes is the one linked because the actress went on to play the uptight school teacher on Little House on the Prairie. It's hilarious to see an actor from such a wholesome show talking about sex and using the word cunt.
May 2020: 5 releases totaling $224.90 (MSRP) Including: a 4k UHD, a 3-Film Euro Horror/Giallo Box Set and three others (includes two Halfway to Black Friday surprise titles) September 2020: 3 releases totaling $139.94 (MSRP) Including: DEADLINE, a 3-Film Euro Horror/Giallo Box Set and one other October 2020: 4 releases totaling $154.92 (MSRP) Including: REST IN PIECES, a 4k UHD and others November 2020: 5 releases totaling $204.90 (MSRP) Including: two 4k UHDs and three others (includes two Black Friday surprise titles) Releases TBD Four UHD 4k releases planned for 2020? Very interesting. What's especially noteworthy is the fact that this open commitment will undoubtedly catch the attention of other distributors. And we can probably assume these will be lower tier catalog films. I wonder what titles these will be. Should be an interesting year. Plus two Euro Horror/Giallo boxsets? They haven't done much in this realm so I'm curious what titles they've picked up. Last couple of years I haven't been too interested in their output but what they've revealed so far is tantalizing to say the least.
I also read somewhere it's one of Steve Martin's favorite movies. Director/writer Nelson Lyon was an early writer for SNL, and was with John Belushi when he died (some blame Lyon for Belushi's death)
I'm considering buying the yearly Horror/Exploitation subscription, but I just spent $600 on tires 2 weeks ago so I really shouldn't. If you break it down it's only a bit over $50 a month, but dropping that much all at once is a bit scary for me given my current job. I do have about a hundred movies I've been meaning to sell, giving Vinegar Syndrome $640 would probably motivate me to get off my ass and start listing them online.
I got in at the outset of the sale and scored the LE's of Jack Frost and The Undertaker. I'm a subscriber, so I didn't need to sweat over the mystery titles. I did miss the posting that Horror House on Highway 5 and Hellbent got restocked, but managed to score the former after seeing a post from someone who had gotten one. The latter was already gone. I'm eyeing The Killing Kind and Sudden Fury, and will for sure get the Christmas Evil slip, and probably Savage Dawn with the discount. I've got the Chris Miller code written down somewhere, too, to take a bit more off. Count Dracula's Great Love is also a possibility. I'm not getting anything in December (not a Completionist subscriber) so I want to make that final shipment as robust as possible!
It's a good chunk of change, one that I can't afford at this point. Too bad, too, because the Euro horror and giallo sets due in 2020 are right up my alley. Anyway, if you think you can sell enough to cover the cost, or at least a good portion of it, you should go for it. That way, I can live vicariously through you for a year.
I wish I knew about the Chris Miller code before I headed out of state for the holiday. By the time I'm back home, the sale will be over. I did get to visit Blairstown from Friday The 13th again while I'm here though, so that was fun!
I’m going onsite to the Archive today at noon to do my shopping and there apparently is some surprise from 12-4. Maybe a guest appearance? I saw some pic of F13 Part II and Madman soundtracks - not sure that has anything to do with it.
