I watched my French Blu-ray of Paperhouse again today... I'm surprised that hasn't been a title in the line yet. It was released back in 2013, but the transfer is surprisingly good. Such a great little movie... Maybe they quit doing it, or it's just not on the image mockup. The Vestron logo can be seen on the spine though, and the "23" number.
Blu-ray.com reviews Sundown - The Vampire in Retreat: Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat Blu-ray (Blu-ray + Digital HD)
Well, I see they're using an old HD scan, for Sundown, as usual... Looks exactly like my old HDTV rip. I know it's cheaper, but I wish they made new scans, instead of using 10-15 year old HDTV transfers. If only they teamed up with Vinegar Syndrome, and used some of their magic, to create new transfers.
Oh yeah, definitely... VS/OCN should (IMO at least) do every studio's scans if they could! At least it's a fairly good older scan for Sundown though... the Vestron line never seems to "wow" with their transfers. Many previous Blu-ray imports of them are often actually slightly better.
Since they're recycling old HD scans for the series, what else could we expect on this line? We should be able to have an idea based on what we know already has a scan. Anybody have a list of possibilities?

If so Any guesses? Candyman 3 Day of the Dead is my guess. But I hope it would be either Alligator or Dentist double feature.
Their October release has already been announced. It is Steel Dawn. Since the release date is October 26th, I'd imagine that is the only one we are getting for the month of October.
Yep seen that kinda odd choice for Steel dawn. Still think candyman 3 may come out to coincide with the new movie supposedly hitting disc DEC 1st.

Candyman 3 is an obvious candidate for the line but, for me, it'll be like a C.H.U.D. II or a Blood Diner - I don't really want them but I'll buy them because it's Vestron. This'll be one of those releases I wish to put behind me so we can get it out of the way and get better titles. Earth Girls Are Easy is another one. Don't want it, some people do, let's get it released so we can move on
I'm hitting roadblocks trying to find copies of Dementia 13. Amazon has stock but they want $18 and I ain't payin' dat. This thing is backordered everywhere else. It's a good thing this is among my least-wanted Vestron titles lol.
The next title is apparently Candyman 3: Day of the Dead I was hoping for something a little better than that. Ghoulies III, Paperhouse, Nightflyers, etc...
