    Indeed.

Oh... and... maybe... WARLOCK!!! (HINT! HINT!)

And The Borrower, if they're the ones holding onto it.

I heard they posted a clue with the word "miner", possibly in reference to Warlock director Steve Miner.

If so, I hope they do a set with all like Wishmaster and Leprechaun, as I've never seen the Warlock sequels.

Your probably right on Warlock. The movie has been in discussion for a long time with Vestron Collection series.

I will say that My Bloody Valentine (1981) wouldn't shock me. That first release by Lionsgate is out of print. I doubt it, but I figure I throw that out there for fun. Maybe they got a better scan of the original print. More special features, etc... ? It's not crazy to think they got a way to release the uncut scenes in better quality. The oop release is almost 8 years old already. They have better technology now to remaster prints. If they did I would be all in on buying it.

If I'm not mistaken, the rights reverted to Paramount, and might be part of the Paramount catalog that is currently with Warner Brothers.

Correction; WAS with Warner Bros. Their deal is done and Paramount has full distribution again.

I'd really love it if Scream Factory could secure a licensing deal with Paramount for the vast amount of unreleased horror films from their catalog. April Fool's Day, The Dead Zone, Silver Bullet, and Let's Scare Jessica to Death need Blu-Ray upgrades!

I'd be happy if Paramount licensed their catalog titles to anyone (Shout!, Arrow, Olive, Twilight Time or even Echo Bridge). Just get these fucking films out there already.

Anyone hoping for The Unholy? I'm surprised no one's mentioned it yet (unless I missed it). I'd be surprised if that isn't announced soon as an upcoming title.

    I am.

And if footage of the alternate ending existed I'd be stoked.

Never heard of an alt ending, very interesting. Don't remember a lot of the film either besides some cool monster FX near the end. Got the VHS at home :)

The director gave several of those "it's not a horror film" interviews prior to the film's release, the producers and test audiences agreed with him when they saw the finished version, and so Bob Keen was brought in to beef up the effects in general, as well as give it a monster-laden finale.

    ...

I love when director's are like "Bah! Hell no! My movie is not horrrrorrrr!!" Stop acting like you're better than the genre you donkey raping hack.

That monster at the end of The Unholy sucked. The FX were clearly rushed and looked terrible.

If anyone shops on bestbuy.com, you might be interested in the fact some of their Vestron titles are on sale. They're normally 28 bucks, but they're 15-18 dollars currently.

    Chopping Mall - 17.99
    C.H.U.D 2 - 14.99
    Blood Diner - 17.99

Pretty reasonable if you ask me.
