That is a good question. What masters does each have access to?

Thanks zbinks that explains alot and it'll be interesting to see what happens with these titles. Criterion hasn't made a move to Blu-ray with them which isn't unusual but the sale of the Westchester Films library goes a long way in explaining it. The concept of digital streaming wasn't well thought out when Criterion first made their DVD licenses so that could be why they both have streaming releases. I don't know of any previous Shout collaborations with Criterion so we'll have to see where they the go from here.

I got a good laugh out of that. The funniest moment for me in Body Parts when he's rough housing with his son and backhands the dog shit out him, out of no where. Hahaha

There's also now an easier way to request the replacement disc directly:

Mine hasn't even arrived yet from DD, but I submitted a request for the replacement disc (and uploaded a shipped email screenshot with the pertinent info)

I recall using that same website when a couple of other past releases got replacement discs, and received the replacement discs incredibly fast.

The actor was James Stacy. He starred on the TV western LANCER and was married to Kim Darby. Timothy Olyphant played him in ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD. He passed away fairly recently. Had a tragic life.

This is more horror adjacent than outright horror, but they're also releasing the terrific IFC Films indie Swallow on August 4th:

"Swallow is an uncompromising horror that evokes deeply rooted alienation and dysmorphia." – Justine Smith, RogerEbert.com

On the surface, Hunter Conrad (Haley Bennett,The Girl On The Train) appears to have it all. A newly pregnant housewife, Hunter seems content to spend her time tending to an immaculate home and doting on her Ken-doll husband, Richie (Austin Stowell, Whiplash). However, as the pressure to meet her controlling in-laws and husband's rigid expectations mounts, cracks begin to appear in her carefully created facade. Hunter develops a dangerous habit, and a dark secret from her past seeps out in the form of a disorder called pica – a condition that has her compulsively swallowing inedible and oftentimes life-threatening objects. A provocative and squirm-inducing psychological thriller, Swallow follows one woman's unraveling as she struggles to reclaim independence in the face of an oppressive system by whatever means possible.

I'm not sure if you meant to post this in this particular thread, but having just bought Double Exposure but not watched it yet, this is great news for me.

April Fool's Day is $22.31 at Amazon. Not sure if that's the lowest it's been, but lowest I've seen.
