If it’s an updated scan then I’m in. The last Shout release was the very last film I bought on DVD before switching to blu ray. I’ve never felt justified to upgrade it.

I wish somebody would release Get Crazy for once.

Holy crap I didn’t even think that’d be even possible. I heard that there was a problem with music rights combined with missing film elements. If it is true it’ll be a miracle.

I'm keeping my expectations in check since there wasn't any information offered regarding the music rights or what film material it will be sourced from. Or even a definite release date. I haven't seen Get Crazy since the mid-late 80s (whenever it played on HBO) so I'd be happy to get it even if it ends up being a less than perfect release.

I have a friend that says he saw a perfect print of it at the Alamo Drafthouse. So that’s a good sign.

Details for Going My Way and The Great Waldo Pepper:

    https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=25595

"Shout Factory has detailed its upcoming Blu-ray releases of Leo McCarey's Going My Way (1944) and George Roy Hill's The Great Waldo Pepper (1975). The two releases will be available for purchase on September 24.

    Going My Way

Synopsis: A winner of seven Academy Awards, the irresistible Going My Way lights up the screen as beautifully as it warms up the heart. Bing Crosby shines as Father O'Malley, a young priest new to an established but financially troubled parish. When his philosophies conflict with those of the curmudgeonly Father Fitzgibbon (Barry Fitzgerald), the unflappable Father O'Malley perseveres — eventually winning over his gruff superior and the parish with his fresh, inspirational approach.

Massively successful with critics, at the box office, and on the record charts (thanks in no small part to the timeless tune "Swinging On A Star"), Going My Way is an undeniable Hollywood classic.

    Special Features and Technical Specs:
    • NEW Audio commentary with pop culture historian Russell Dyball
    • A Collection of vintage shorts and footage featuring Bing Crosby
    • Screen Guild Theater radio adaptation of Going My Way
    • Rerelease trailer
    • Photo galleries
    • Optional English subtitles for the main feature
    The Great Waldo Pepper

Synopsis: Robert Redford takes to the skies in this rousing and dramatic thrill-ride! Waldo Pepper (Redford) is a former WWI biplane pilot who feels he missed out on his chance to earn glory during the war and dreams of being the first man to perform the risky "outside loop." Desperate for cash, he resorts to "barnstorming" with his unique style of aerial showmanship, but soon lands in Hollywood as a stunt pilot. When German ace fighter pilot Ernst Kessler (Bo Brundin) is cast to recreate his famous dogfight in a Hollywood blockbuster, Waldo sees an opportunity to redeem his war record in a dramatic and death-defying airborne fight ... that proves to be a little too real.

    Special Features and Technical Specs:
    • Original theatrical trailer
    • Still gallery
    • Optional English subtitles for the main feature"
