The Halloween III Steelbook has been updated on the Shout! website now containing the interview with Tom Burman and the radio spots from the Deluxe Complete Collection bonus disc.

And ROTLD II will also include the alternate home video track:

Correct, albeit in standard lossy audio at 192kbps. It is nice that it's even included though.

In the mouth of madness is an easy double dip for me loved the movie since I seen it in theaters it probably is my 3rd favorite Carpenter film behind Halloween and The Thing!

Not a big fan, it seems.

Can't agree with the overall assessment of the film, except that it isn't Carpenter's best. I like it, its a keeper and an upgrade candidate, and I don't apply that respect to all of Carpenter's films.

I do agree with the reviewer's grade on Sam Neill. IMO the film succeeds despite his contribution, not because of it. The film calls for an edginess or gravity in its main character. Neill has neither, an actor so bland you expect to see boxes of saltines sold with the label "Sam Neill Flavored!". I've always wondered how the film would have turned out with someone like Chris Sarandon or even Stacy Keach front and center.

To be honest, I have only seen In the Mouth of Madness once when it was a new release. Didn't hate the film or anything. I just don't seem to get too excited about any John Carpenter films made in the 90's onwards. For me personally, They Live would be Carpenter's last great film.

Two years ago, I went to a John Carpenter concert. The event was billed as a live career retrospective. His band only played one track from films made after They Live and that would be In the Mouth of Madness.

I will probably give this film another chance. Definitely would have preferred your casting suggestions: Stacy Keach or Chris Sarandon.

Same. A lot of their barebones standalone releases have not been worth the price. Plus, saves me precious shelf space.

The price and shelf space is a definite plus.

This Naked Vengeance/Vendetta Blu really interests me. Might have been out of the loop(or not paying attention), but I didn't see that one coming at all. Still have Naked Vengeance VHS somewhere in storage.

Oh man, Munchies / Munchie would be great. I'll have to pick that one up eventually. Although I admit, it'll be on sale. But probably Shout's first decent sale of it.

And they might as well throw in Munchie Strikes Back even if only as an SD extra. Where the hell else are they going to slip that one in?

Them picking up the Corman catalog has been a boon and I hope we see Not of This Earth on Blu-ray soon. I'd take a double feature of the first and the remake with the third remake as an SD extra too!

I don't think I've ever actually seen Vendetta, but I seem to recall it being one of those movies that, in the late 80's / early 90's, was always on TV through one of the superstations or one of the local UHF stations.

The double feature of Naked Vengeance & Vendetta is something I plan to buy. Doesn't take long to get some cool announcements after Scream Factory does all their title reveals at the San Diego Comic Con. Quite often I enjoy these random announcements more than what gets hyped at SDCC. Last year I think the Paul Naschy Collection Volume 2 was one of the first revealed soon after their SDCC panel?

It's a typical 80's WIP movie. Nothing special really...but I've always liked it. I think it did play some in the late 80's/early 90's on Cinemax/Showtime/HBO.
