I wouldn't rule out the possibility that this is for an overseas release. Sony is not a worldwide rightsholder for Candyman.

This Beaver review is confusing. The posters and covers shown are from two different movies with the same name: Caged Fury (1989, directed by Bill Milling) and Caged Fury (1983, directed by Cirio H. Santiago). The Shout disc offers the movie from 1989.

Hopefully Scream has some extras in store for Strait-Jacket.

Looks like Mill Creek is releasing their own bargain priced blu-ray paired with Berserk!, streeting two weeks before Scream's blu-ray.

I've actually been hoping for a Blu of BERSERK ! so I might have to buy this anyway, even if I get Scream's STRAIGHT-JACKET.

Ugh, written in all caps. Did the writer trip into the WayBack Machine with the dial set to Usenet era?

Not much in terms of style or insight either, the clunky synopsis adding nothing for those familiar with the films nor making the sale for those that aren't. Of greater importance, only token discussion of video/audio quality.

Then again, if you're a fan of this series, you're going to upgrade baring a true travesty of presentation, assuming you didn't outright pre-order it upon announcement (guilty as charged).

Between review cosmetics & content (or lack of it), their website could use some major reconstruction. I pre-ordered the trilogy from Deep Discount. Their slowpoke shipping should get my package here by the end of the week.

Yeah, thanks for posting that. Guess it's either Sony themselves or Twilight Time now.

Also, Shout! made an important announcement about their Wild at Heart CE:

"While reviewing Wild At Heart (Collector’s Edition), we discovered an error had occurred in the manufacturing process that affected early product. We have corrected the error for retail product, but will have to move the national street date to August 21st. We apologize for the delay, but we always strive to bring you the absolute best product which means addressing this issue right away. Thank you."

If you're talking about Of Unknown Origin then yes it is pretty boring and gets really stupid. It did start off interesting enough but by the end I was well and truely over it.
