Demented 1980 any good I see the bluray comes out tuesday
Is that supposed to be Elizabeth Banks on the cover? Yikes, that's not a great illustration of her.
I dig the cover. REALLY excited for this release. Day 1 purchase all day.
A rape-revenge horror flick written by the Incredible Melting Man himself, staring porn actors, and directed by someone who never made another movie. It's not a fun time and pretty bad honestly but a curio for those who are intrigued by that descriptor.
Amazon pre-orders for:
A Shock to the System:
Homicide: Life on The Street The Complete Series:
Caps-A-Holic comparison between the Shout Blu-ray and HBO DVD for Tales from the Hood: http://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?d1=10133&d2=10132&c=4068
Definitely an upgrade over that compressed, blocky, and chroma bleed-filled transfer on the DVD.
Where the Buffalo Roam CE detailed (we're getting the original music!!!):
Banks' weird face aside the cover art for Slither is pretty cool.
Think I will pass on demented. Trying to see if I should have enough dough. For house collection bye bye man unrated blu and phantasm collection the last 2 things are at my small bestbuy store
But, no Jenna Fischer.
I forgot Elizabeth Banks was even in the movie.
Not me. A one and only director and a low budget horror film filled with porn stars...I'm in.
Wrong Amazon link...
Yeah, I meant to post the Blu-ray.com link. I fixed it.
I really love the artwork on Slither. Nice job Shout.
I saw this film as a young teen obsessed with all things horror and exploitation and must say it is one of the most unmemorable and just plain excruciatingly dull films I've ever seen.
This time, I think they should have gone with the original poster art.
I find the original poster art rather bland compared to the blu-ray cover.
You are talking about Slither, correct?
This is easily one of Shout! Factory's most phoned-in covers.
Just received Demented in the mail. I remember not liking it, but I'm really excited to revisit. Should be a trip seeing it in hi-def.
Even though it has been a while since I've seen it, I still remember some of the LOL worthy dialogue, such as "I'm sorry, I'm a little on edge. I just started my period."
