A Mel commentary would've been worth the double dip, but a new interview? I don't know...

Ah, I can go to Stormfront.org for that
(I think that's the site...I'm not Googling it to check it out. Was sent there once, and all I can say is....whoa)
LOL! Wow. That is an interesting site, but I always feel that clicking on something that fucked-up puts me on a list somewhere.
Funny that they use the same web design at this site.

Well... at least they're right about something. We are the white minority. Just not the minority they think we are. Oh dear.
Wasn't Scarecrows released already? Or was that Night of the Scarecrow I was thinking of? At least I can't confuse those two with Dark Night of the Scarecrow.
Scarecrows will be new to Blu-Ray. Night of the Scarecrow has previously been released to Blu-Ray by Olive, so that might be the film you were thinking of.
The Last Unicorn Enchanted Edition Blu-ray and DVD!:

The only thing that I'm very excited about right now is Escape from NY.
That's it - I've decided that Shout's future lies in 80's cartoons and new pickups like Babadook. After they're done scraping the bottom of MGM's barrel, what's left to go after? They're trying their hand at Italotrash but if they don't have access to better transfers then what's the point? If Escape From New York is the best they have then that's really it.
They're the Anchor Bay of the mid 2010s. You're just going to have to deal with it.
I have to say I was a bit disappointed with the extras on Animal.
Beneath had over an hour of extremely in-depth and interesting behind-the-scenes stuff, covering pretty much everything you could possibly want to know. Animal gets 5 minutes worth of EPKs.
The blu-ray looks great though.
I haven't decided if I feel like dealing with it. If I come to decision you'll be the first to know.
I'm surprised anyone would feel strongly about either of these releases. To be fair, both movies are acceptable - somewhat enjoyable, but not really essential to any collection.
Yes, Scream Factory does seem to be the Anchor Bay of the 2010's. From the cult horror collector's perspective, there is a sense that they've peaked, but maybe it's because they started out so very strong - it's difficult to imagine any company sustaining the momentum they built during their first two years.
As a monster movie fan I found both titles worth adding.
Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll strike a deal with Lionsgate.
Oh the possibilities...
