But will Robin Lively show up, as she did at the Nuart?

Joking aside, it's one of only a few midnight screenings I've been to at the Nuart that the line went down the block. The other was Troll 2 during that 10 minutes everyone was into Troll 2.

A testament to it's popularity. No one is lining up for those others.

A lot of the MGM titles they are releasing were readily available on DVD for years. Some have gone out of print, but most of them could easily be found for dirt cheap while they were in print (I remember Amazon had a ton of the MGM catalog for $3.98 for years). I'd imagine the fans of these films grabbed them on DVD the first go round.

P.S. I just noticed that she is in the upcoming horror film Ouija. Only reason I'm going to check it out in the theater.

Another miss from Shout Factory for me. FROGS is the most boring animals attack film I've seen. I just watched FOOD OF THE GODS last week and while I did enjoy it, I can't see myself revisiting it. I can think of many animals attack films that I liked better. And once again, its a shame Shout selected more titles that are readily available on DVD (and streaming).

Food of the Gods and Empire of the Ants are both day one purchases. Been wanting to see Repticulus too.

I love The Rage Carrie 2 and am overjoyed by this announcement... but I'm probably the only one.

I kind of feel like Disturbing Behavior will be one of their remaining announcements.

At DVD Drive-in they mentioned Jaws of Satan coming out on a double bill next summer. Haven't seen that since late night tv airings in early 80s.

I didn't care for The Rage: Carrie II AT ALL. Not a single high note for me among the October announcements so far. I hope the SF well of retro horror hasn't dried up only two years after starting out so strong.
