Pandas deserve to become extinct. They're too fussy in what they eat, and they usually leave the one cub they produce to die. Fuck them all!
Agreed. The title Halloween III hurts the film. It's actually prett nifty. Ironically, the last HALLOWEEN film to actually look like a Carpenter HALLOWEEN film even though it (technically) isn't. Why the BLAZIN' HELL are the actual sequels so flat and stale-looking?????????:eek2:
* Jess Franco movies all suck * Rob Zombie is a pretty good director, who has made some bad films * I am pro death penalty, AND pro abortion *Little Miss Sunshine sucked ass * Harrison Ford is overrated * Army of Darkness is a terrible movie * Johnny Cash is way overrated *Halloween 3 is the best in name only sequel EVER *Tim Robbins is an asshole *Sean Penn is an asshole * Bill Maher is a self righteous asshole * Michael Moore has made a couple good movies, but is another asshole *I actually like Ann Coulter *I don't care for President Bush, but I really can't stand Obama or Billary Clinton *Tobe Hooper would fuck up a cup of black coffee * George Lucas is a shitty director * Lindsay Lohan is hot as sin * the original Dracula with Lugosi is terrible * Jackass is not funny * Kanye West is a terrible rapper, along with Akon * Werner Herzog's Nosferatu is one of the most boring films I have ever seen * I liked Renny Harlin's Exorcist prequel
Some More .. - Wolf Creek is the most underrated Horror Film of the Decade. - Wendigo is great - Dante Tomaselli is the the most underrated Director out there. - Larry Fessenden is the second most underrated Director out there.
* When the hell is John Carpenter gonna get off his ass & direct a film? He should of shot Zombie in the head for attempting to remake Halloween. It disgusts me to no end. * Love the Saw films. Tone down the gore, and I would still like them. Its the playout of the traps and the endings that draws me to the film. * Don't get Takashi Miike films. And Eli Roth is a hack for putting him in his film. Why? One garbage film maker putting another in his movie. Whoopie! * If the "MTV world" never gave the attention to Eli Roth's first film. He would be unheard of today. Too bad. They were going on & on about how sick & gross it was. Are they kinding? It was silly. Tired of Eli going on & on & on about the shaving scene. Sure if you think a silly purple leg with grade school DRAWN on holes is gross, that there's no hope for you. Silly, Silly, Silly!!! * Guinea Pig, Oldboy, etc.... all mindless stuff. Are they trying to gross people out? Not with me. Stupid waste of time. I watch real surgeries on TLC , no problem. At least I'm learning something there. * While Dawn of the Dead is a great film, its kinda boring at times. Maybe thats why they NEVER play it on cable. Only the remake. Which I've grown to really like. * Can watch TCM part 2 & 3 over TCM part 1 any day. * Agree with some others on Halloween III. Wish it wasn't part of the series. It should stand on its own. * Wes Craven early films are bad. Hey, you got to start somewhere. * I like Nicholas Cage films. * Although I absolutely love Friday the 13th Part 7, I have been known to turn the ending off after the explosion. It really bothers me. Along with Jason goes to Hell. I always hated New Line for taking control of the series. Who cares that Paramount was bad on the dvd releases. At least they didn't destroy the series. * I like Leviathan & Deep Star Six * I dig most Troma films. * Whats with Death Proof & the hood riding scene? What people never seen a car stunt before? Get a hold of yourself.
What does Oldboy have to do with the Guinea Pig movies for 'gross out' scenes? I don't remember any torture porn in Oldboy, other than maybe the hammer scene? And it's definitely not a mindless movie. More like a use your mind movie.
Seriously. I have yet to come across another species on the face of the planet with such an utter unwillingness to thrive and survive. And unlike most of the animals on the endangered list, if humans didn't exist, they would STILL die off. The only reason Pandas haven't yet is because they're cute and the Chinese love them. Fuck'em all.
Said a lot of what I wanted to say in the first thread, so I'll try to keep it confined to recent stuff. Argento's episodes of Masters of Horror have both sucked. Personally, I think he's phoning it in. The scripts are already planned for him, the pre-production is done, he works a few days on set and that's it. Perhaps I'd know more if I watched all the extras on the DVDs, but the episodes haven't interested me enough to do it. But I will say that William Malone's episode has blown away both of Argento's, and that's pretty sad. the so-called "torture porn" is GREAT. It's horror that is unsettling people, and it's been a long time since that happened. Keep it up, push the envelope, boys. Even if they're not as good as the first entries in the franchise, a Saw or Hostel sequel is miles above ANY Halloween, F13, or Nightmare on Elm Street sequel.
Hey Maybrick....damn straight on the pandas. They're fertile like one day a year, but they don't wanna fuck. And they don't even take care of their babies (when they give birth to twins, it's EXPECTED that one will be neglected and die off). Hell, they're still cute and we should keep them around. But you're right...if it wasn't for man, they'd have died off on their own a long time ago.
In case you haven't noticed this thread is about "unpopular opinions". Sorry, I'll make sure to be more "PC" next time. I didn't realize I needed to make sure that others agreed with me before voicing "unpopular" opinions. But hey, both Paff and my wife agree with me, so I guess it isn't such an outlandish thing to say, is it?
Hey, another one: Horror movie T-shirts, and the people who wear them are LAME. When I see someone wearing a shirt with the rotting corpse from Zombie, or Cristina Marsillach from Opera, he might as well just say, "I'm 25, I make just above minimum wage, and have never had sex with a girl who rates above a 2 (if I've had sex at all)"
Why not, it works with Halloween III. People big it up on here 365 days a year, and then pretend it's an "unpopular opinion". Why should you be any different? Halloween III is much lauded these days, and loving it isn't an "unpopular" view at all, quite the opposite. Whether it was loved at the time of release is irrelevant - unless we're all living in the past and have decided to live in a time tunnel on this one occassion. Here's one: People should be able to smoke wherever, and whenever they want. Non-smokers can always leave the room.
I'm just wondering: This thread has been going on for 60 or so posts now. Are you ever going to contribute anything, or are you saying that you hold nothing but "popular" opinions? BAA!
