Just announced. Silver Bullet https://www.facebook.com/UmbrellaEn...58674078780/10155761173473781/?type=3&theater Orca https://www.facebook.com/UmbrellaEn...58674078780/10155763782558781/?type=3&theater
Wow. Will grab both of these. Paramount doesn't give a fuck about releasing these movies in the US but thank goodness that other territories don't suffer the same fate.

Oh I'll be buying it for sure. Too bad they didn't get a few more interviews though. Gary Busey? Megan Follows? Terry O'Quinn? The kid who played Brady??? Plus I'm sure that audio commentary is the same one I already have from 15 years ago.
Agree it would have been nice to see more involvement from the cast, although I don't think Terry O'Quinn ever comments on his old films. Would love to have heard from Megan Follows though. Sadly the actor who played Brady died in 2009. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0942502/reference
Dark Age is, and it looks like Orca, Silver Bullet, Suspiria and Fair Game will be, too. https://www.umbrellaent.com.au/coming-soon/3561-orca-blu-ray.html https://www.umbrellaent.com.au/coming-soon/3571-stephen-kings-silver-bullet-blu-ray.html https://www.umbrellaent.com.au/movies/3492-suspiria-blu-ray.html https://www.umbrellaent.com.au/coming-soon/3573-fair-game-blu-ray.html I think there's a pretty good chance that Razorback will be region free, as well.
I assume Umbrella did not license these titles direct from Paramount. The studio can't be that narrow-minded to only license films to a specific territory. I mean, Paramount seems to flatly refuse to have anything to do with releasing these films in the US or license them to Shout or someone else. It's incredibly frustrating.
It was not released here in the UK from Paramount, so I suspect they hold the licencing right in the states only. Hence the versions now showing up.
I'm pretty sure they're getting the Dino De Laurentiis titles (Orca, Silver Bullet) from StudioCanal. Paramount only holds US distribution rights on those.
