MGM's been putting Blu-rays together with the SD DVDs lately. That'd be your mostly likely second disc. I'm not expecting Best Worst Movie to be tagging along.

If it's a great transfer I might go for it; popcorn make-out in all its gory detail is somewhat tempting. Otherwise it'd only be a bargain bin purchase down the road.

Haha. I should upload my faux trailer for Troll 2 I cut together last year for when I screened the film at a local theatre. If I have time this weekend, I'll do so and post a link.

I haven't bought it on DVD, so the BD is a must.

I just saw Troll 2 for the first time last weekend, right before a screening of Best Worst Movie. How the hell did I miss this crapsterpiece for so long? More importantly, how did Mike and the 'Bots not get a hold of it for some Sci-Fi Channel era MSTing?

Anyways, I was going to order the Troll / Troll 2 DVD, but now I guess I'll wait for more info on the Blu. I really want to see Troll now, so if disc 2 is either the previous DVD double feature, or BWM, I'm sold.

It should be noted that TROLL 2 is also getting a standalone DVD release the same day too. Looking forward to see what cover they go with, since the still on the double feature was from the original TROLL.

The page also confirms it's pretty much a barebones release with the addition of Troll 2 on DVD as well.

Great trailer, buddy. You definitely pulled it off, it looks pretty scary. Love that weight lifting POV with the grindhouse filtering...looks like something that was cut out of Final Exam or something.

Well, the cover art is an improvement over the double feature DVD. Funny to see something called the "Nilbog" edition. Shame there aren't any reported extras. I guess Nilbog is Barebones spelled backwards.

    Thanks!

But yeah, while the cover art is an improvement, it could be better. I should send them the art my good friend Cate made for the posters from my screening of the film last October.

The Blu's coverart isn't too bad, but hardly that important. I'm still simply amazed that we're getting this baby in HD!

Oh, and I had a dream... last night. I was in a mall and there was a Troll 2 store.

Has anyone seen best worst movie? I'd like a second opinion on something to those who have

LOL that was fucking awesome!! Amazing how a red filter and some stylish cutting can make the film actually seem scary.

Heads up if you live in the Phoenix area (in the state everybody loves to hate!) Both "Troll 2" and "Best Worst Movie" are playing this weekend at the Madcap Theater near Arizona State University in Tempe.

This Friday, the producer of "Best Worst Movie" Lindsay Stephenson will be there doing Q & A.
