About a year ago, I was browsing in Wal-fart and I came across a horror anthology film called "Trapped Ashes". It contained either 4 or 5 stories, and was released on the Lions Gate label. It sounded pretty good and was only $10. I waited too damn long and when I went back to pick it up, it was gone. I always wondered if this film was any good and I never seen it for sale again, though I'm sure it's available online. It's werid that I can find it again. Most of Lions Gate's titles are usually available someplace.

Has anybody seen this film and if so, did you like it and would you recommend it???

I don't expect it to live up to Creepshow or Tales From the Crypt, but I thought it sounded good when I read the back of the case.

I remember renting it when it first came out. It was quite average for an anthology, but did feature some good actors and several high-profile directors for the segments. The wrap-around story had a somewhat "shocker" of an ending I can recall.

I'd definitely recommend it for a rental, but as a total blind buy I'd be cautious...

My thoughts are about the same as Kat's! I guess it wasn't that memorable!

I paid $1 at the Redbox and thought it was a good movie.

Worth a rental. It's OK, more enjoyable if you like old anthology films. One of the episodes is a riff on Stanley Kubrick which is a little different.

It was cheesy but ok. Any anthology with a killer titties story can't be all bad.
