Three Chuck Norris Films Exclusively at Wal-Mart

These should be solid upgrades. The old Missing in Action DVD wasnt even 16x9 enhanced, and the sequel and The Delta Force DVD's were just Pan & Scan transfers.

Would have preferred other Golan-Globus Chuck Norris flicks. These are cool though so don't get me wrong.

I like the one where Norris goes up against Michael Myers. What was that one again? I'd buy that for a dollar. Oh yeah, SILENT RAGE. That fuckers a classic! Boo yah!

Cool news. I will probably get all of them. Would really like to see Lone Wolf McQuade, Invasion USA, and Silent Rage on Blu-ray next.

The master disks were going to have lots of special features, but when Chuck Norris found out his movies were to be rollback priced at Walmart he got mad. Then he snap kicked a telephone pole, and the resulting shock wave traveled to the studio where it wiped the special features from their media servers.

I wouldn't mind these but have a feeling we'll see all three bundled together for $10 - $15 within 6 months, so I'll wait awhile.

I've had a 1080i copy of The Delta Force for a couple of years now, recorded from the HDnetMovies channel. It had some pretty decent 5.1 channel Dolby Digital sound.

So why the hell does the Blu-ray have only plain old 2-channel stereo sound? Offically it's DTS-MA 2.0, but it's pretty crappy and tinny DTS-MA 2.0.

The picture on the Blu-ray looks sharper than the HDnetMovies broadcast, but bright colors look a bit oversaturated.

Overall, the picture's better on the BD, but the sound was better on HDnetMovies.

I bought all three yesterday at Wally World. I hate going in that store, but this was worth it.

The transfers look great, nice colors and high detail. Certainly far, far better than the old DVD's.

Thea theatrical trailer for each movie is the sole bonus feature on each release.
