Christ, it's about time!
Knew it would go royal! I can only imagine how beautiful the transfer will look. ^_^
Meh I'll stick with my DVD(s) of it.
I wonder if they're just going to do the first glick in HD or all of them. I'll be getting this as I never bought the DVD.
UK Disc Announced by 88 Films
US Blu announced!:
Awesome. I'll likely pick up the US release as it should be cheaper.
The 88 Films release may still be the way to go on this one. Troma, much like Full Moon, never includes lossless audio on their releases.
I honestly know next to nothing about audio so that's not big incentive for me to go one way or the other.
If the price difference is big then I'll go with the cheaper one. Troma's past blu's have had pretty good PQ unlike FullMoon and their UK counterparts.
US Blu release date is July 8th according to Blu-ray.com:
And pre-order link:
About time! Can't wait for this.
Extras appear different, with the 88 Films one seeming stocked mostly with old extras... Troma's looks like it's got a ton of new stuff, which will be what I'm likely going to grab.
I find myself split in-between on which version to purchase.

Mondo-Digital.com review of the Troma release: http://www.mondo-digital.com/toxic.html
Well I want the japanese version so unless I have misunderstood 88 films is the way to go
Yeah, I found that review a little confusing regarding what exactly is on what...
I've never even seen the Japanese version before, but my Steelbook Blu-ray did ship the other day from Zavvi, so I guess I'll soon experience it! :nervous:
Are you worried about buying from Zavvi? I was wondering if I should give them a try but you've got me thinking better of it.
