And it seems that the part of the review I quoted has now been removed. Hah.
Everything... when it comes to a blu/dvd, you can make an elaborate review without pointing your personal thoughts.
But lets leave it this way. The world would be a drag if we all agreed on everything.
When it comes to blu/DVD shouldn't the review at least cover the PQ and sound and offer their informative opinion on that? That's the most important thing in my eyes. I also hate it when reviews don't offer screen caps.
I'm hoping to get a review up tomorrow. Here's a screenshot from the blu. http://cannibalreviews.tumblr.com/image/69354782415
I didn't have the last release, so I can't really compare, but I've heard some negative things.
I've got the Wild Side version of Tenebrae and it's better than the Arrow Blu from looking at online captures.
Wildside Blu appears a lot more natural to me with greater detail.
I watched my blue the other day and while I was pleased with the transfer I wasn't very fond of the audio (also and especially on the extras with the exception of the new interview with Maitland McDonagh).
This came in the mail yesterday, along with the steelbook of The Beyond. Tenebrae looks gorgeous on my TV, miles ahead of their old release. The Beyond steelbook, btw, is probably the nicest looking steelbook Ive seen so far. The artwork, discs and booklet all look so damn cool! It wasn't a simple re-packaging. The discs have new art too.
But does anyone else seem to have this problem: Often I find when I get an Arrow blu-ray, the booklet has been kinda dented where it slides into the inside of the case, where the booklet meets those clips that hold it in place. The back or the booklets always seem to have a small tear or rip because the edge of the book catches onto the plastic edges. It's kind of annoying. You'd think they'd design it a bit better so that when the book slides down it doesn't clip itself on the plastic of the case.
Yeah, almost every booklet I get in Arrow releases has one corner screwed up in the case.
