I hope so too, because with the $17 USD shipping to Canada and with the exchange rate that works out to just over $82 CAD..... Yikes!

Can't wait. I know a lot of love went into Popcorn's release so I will support it.

Hard pass. I've skipped on all of their Steelbook releases because they're so outrageously priced I would never spend that much on a film. Why can't they just release it like every other studio instead of this limited edition astronomically priced bullshit?

I love synapse but I've stopped buying their releases because of this shit. There's a reason that after 3 years their 3,000 unit pressings of Demons and Demons 2 are still in stock.

This comes to over $80 CAD. That's fucking insane. No way.

In all seriousness: is anyone on the site actually willing to shell out $50 for this title? I understand that it's a highly-requested title, but for me it's not a good enough to warrant such a price point. I'd pay $15.

There isn't a single god damn movie ever made that I would ever be willing to spend 50 bucks on.

LOL not even Waiting. For 50 bucks, I'd better come with a BJ from Jordan Ladd........or a finger in the butt from Ryan Reynolds

I've waited enough, enough with the waiting. The hell with it, I'll pick up one.

What's the use of having all this money if can't enjoy spending it?

I don't know, I can make the case for over-priced Argento... but overpriced Popcorn? ... ... ... not sure I can mentally justify that.

$22.99 at Amazon right now. Or $11.99 for each of the first two.

For the Argento titles- especially the upcoming Suspiria- I am happy to have a limited steelbook version. But not for Popcorn

I might not upgrade, if Suspiria is offered in a DVD version from Synapse, from the Anchor Bay version. Unless they offer that 4.0 (stereo? surround?) track that everyone talks about is somewhat preferred by people who think Anchor Bay / THX cranked up the sound effects over the music cues.

But, I really want an extended Phenomena. Unless Amazon Prime keeps it on streaming for the remainder of my life. So, Synapse had better get to work putting a DVD version of the film out there if they want me to ever buy from them again.
