anyone heard of this flick? it's on dvd/blu in the UK right now, and will soon be hitting dvd/blu here in the US come April, but I watched it last night.....sweet fucking jesus was it gory. it's a horror comedy that's actually VERY FUNNY but was shockingly brutal. the kills are all over the top and bloody as hell and a couple actually made me feel sick, something that hasn't happened in...i can't even remember the last time actually. Spoiler the clown in the movie rips one guy's dick and balls off with his bare hands, IN SLOOOOOOW MOTION, and another character is disemboweled, has his guts blown into the shape of balloon animal and then has a pump shoved into his head causing his head to explode, again in slow motion. lots of the deaths are in slow motion with blood spewing all over the place. fuckin awesome here's the red band trailer if anyone's interested https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4bG4tM1cm8
Pretty funny movie, not quite up there with Shaun of the Dead but it certainly has some laugh out loud moments and over the top gore. This movie contains the funniest head explosion in the history of cinema and a chase scene that has to be seen to be believed. Also some of the one liners would put big Arnie to shame .... Worth a watch. 7/10
I watched this the other, fun movie. A lot of inventive gore scenes to enjoy. I didn't find it super funny, but goddammit did I laugh at that exploding head bit. I'm smiling now just thinking about it. If anyone is interested I've started reviewing on my blog and I did a review of Stitches. I've only written like 10 reviews, so I'm not great at it yet, but I think I'm getting a bit better. http://the-manchester-morgue.blogspot.com/2013/02/stitches-youll-die-laughing.html
Love, love, LOVED it. Some of the best death sequences I've seen in a long time and it was just so much fun.
Cool, hopefully it stays that price for a while, Best Buy's Upgrade and Save program is coming back in like 2 weeks so it'll be $5 if it stays $10. Wow, not sure that sentence made sense:lol:
pretty cool fun flick with awesome kills very highly recommended best uk comedy/horror flick since shaun of the dead
STITCHES was very bloody and the kills were great, I'll give it that, but otherwise didn't live up to my expectations. I bought the Bluray as a blind buy for $10, but now after watching it realized I should have rented instead. I would recommend seeing Stitches cause its a lot of fun for the 85 min, but I just don't see myself re-watching anytime soon.
Just watched this on Hulu+. It was fun and the head explosion was great. Glad it wasn't a purchase as I'm not sure I would get continual plays, but it is worth a watch if you have Hulu.
