Well, I gotta say that I was initially hesitant about the Adamson set, but ended up ordering it last month when I had some spare change for it. Definitely expensive... but when I thought more about it, there were more movies in the set that I wanted (plus had actually seen before) than initially realized.
I'm still waiting for an Al Adamson-type of set for films that are actually good. So far it's been nothing but zero budget crap and that's not counting the rumored upcoming Andy Milligan collection. It's like Severin is releasing junk on purpose lol
Does this mean you don't like the Blood Island films? I'm not sure they would be classified as good but they're certainly entertaining.
They're OK time-wasters. The crazy zooms don't suit me, though. They trigger my Vertigo. May have to unload the set because of it.
Eh, taste is subjective. The Blood Island and Hemisphere of Horror sets speak 100% to my sensibilities. Goofy mid-century schlock with cheap production values but a ton of heart. Not for everyone, but I think a lot of people value those films.

Soak up the trailer for The Complete Lenzi Baker Giallo Collection. This will be a thick, sturdy chipboard Splitcase, housing 4 Blu-Rays and 2 CDs! The first 1000 direct orders from the Severin webstore will also get 4 postcards with all of the new key arts! Pre-order here: https://severin-films.com/shop/lenzi-baker-bundle/
The links through Facebook are messed up for me so here are the direct links: The Complete Lenzi|Baker Giallo Collection [6-Disc Blu-ray Box Set] $78.00 https://severin-films.com/shop/lenzi-baker-collection/ The Lenzi|Baker Bundle $90.00 https://severin-films.com/shop/lenzi-baker-bundle/ Paranoia T-shirt $20.00 https://severin-films.com/shop/paranoia-shirt/ The Bundle's not a bad deal if you consider the t-shirt at full price (which never go on sale). And I don't know if I dreamed it but it looked like the Al Adamson set was back in stock for a hot minute there but it's out of stock now...
It definitely was last night. I was just browsing on their store and it was available to order again then. Apparently they said they'd had some cancellations, and a few would be made available in the store again.
I think I'm going to get the bundle, now to talk myself into spending the extra money for the non-Media mail shipping.
Went ahead and pre-ordered the Lenzi boxset last night minus the t-shirt, Just added the Changeling ball for $3 to get free shipping. Money is tight right now but this set is definetly worth owning, Severin stepped up on this one.
I was on the fence with this especially considering free shipping is for orders of at least $80 and this was $78. In the end I pre-ordered and added the Asian Satan's Slave to make the free shipping. My main reason for hesitating was that I felt I would be able to get better prices down the line but decided it wasn't worth taking the chance.
I pre-ordered it last night also, and added one Black Blu-ray Case to cross the free shipping threshold. I really had no interest in the t-shirt.

Multiple reports out there that disc 8 of the Al Adamson set (The Naughty Stewardesses/Blazing Stewardesses) is defective.
It figures too. Severin was bound to screw something up. They have the quality control of a toddler pissing on a toilet.
