Ronin Flix is the best around for shipping speed. I ordered my 2 movies on Tuesday night and they arrived this (Friday) morning. Immaculate packaging too.

It was also released theatrically in the U.S. as Twilight of the Dead.

Apparently there is a disc problem with Lone Wolf McQuade, as there are numerous reports of it not even loading beyond the main menu.

Does yours play? I nearly pre-ordered this, but decided to wait due to sales elsewhere.

I haven't received it in the mail from Ronin yet, but a lot of people are posting that it won't advance to the movie or bonus features.

Okay, I got Lone Wolf McQuade is the mail earlier (with magnet) and the disc loaded fine for me in my Sony player (which loads practically anything) without any issues. Both the bonus features and the main feature started fine. I also tried it in one of the LG drives on my computer, and it also loaded fine in PowerDVD.

So it either must be a defect with some of the discs that were manufactured, or just player-specific issues...

I got GATES OF HELL and SLEEPLESS. I'm glad "Gates" is back to being called that. It's great to have 1983 back, lol. I really love SLEEPLESS - the cast was pretty cool. I loved THE CARD PLAYER as well. I plan on getting that. I have never warmed to Argento's PHANTOM/OPERA but I'll get it anyway - soon.

I was hoping the Scorpion release would look more or less the same as the Arrow release so I could just stick with the Arrow release that I was already very happy with but compared to those Arrow caps the Scorpion release really does look better to me, now I have yet another copy of this movie on BD...

Yeah, the Scorpion does look better in most of those comparisons...at times strikingly better.

I just wish Scorpion would send out advance review copies early enough for them to be posted when their Ronin titles do go live for sale. Taking blind chances on a $30+ title these days just isn't the smart thing to do, especially if you already own a different edition of the film.

Something to hold you over until the UHD comes out :)

I have 3 versions - the Arrow, the Dark Force 'grindhouse" edition and now this. The Scorpion edition will be my go-to whenever I want to watch the film but I'll never get rid of the Arrow release. It's worth it for the packaging and other stuff exclusive to that release. Still, hard to believe someone bested an Arrow release.
