R.I.P. Geoffrey Lewis Passes Away At Age 79

"It’s been a terrible week for horror fans with the passing of Robert Z’Dar and Tom Towles and unfortunately it’s only gotten worse.

It’s been reported by Variety that actor Geoffrey Lewis, father of Juliette Lewis, has passed away at age 79 of natural causes (...)"

Very sorry to hear this, he was a wonderful actor. I recall him fondly for his many films with Clint Eastwood and John Milius. His X-FILES turn was excellent as well. Condolences to his family and friends. Rest In Peace.

I am a huge fan of his movies with Clint, especially Every Which Way But Loose and Any Which Way You Can. Sad news-RIP Mr. Lewis. Oddly, I never knew he was Juliette Lewis's father.

Geoffrey Lewis was great in Every Which Way But Loose, Any Which Way You Can, High Plains Drifter, Thunderbolt & Lightfoot, Way of the Gun, and The Devil's Rejects. So many memorable tv show appearances too, including a Bigfoot episode of The Six Million Dollar Man. Lewis was one of the best character actors. Nice guy too offscreen. I met him once at a Chiller Theatre show. Rest in peace. :(

He was great and memorable in everything he did, including a made-for-tv movie I watched recently called 'Moon of the Wolf'. 'Salem's Lot' too, childhood favorite.
    Sad to hear this.

RIP. Geoffrey seemed to give it his all no matter what part he played, and he seemed to have that quality that helped make a scene come alive - no matter if he was in a larger or smaller role.

Magnum P.I., Little House on the Prairie, The A-Team, Guns of Paradise--so many great television show appearances.

And, of course, Night of the Comet!

This guy was a workhorse. Sad to see him pass.

First Towles and now Lewis. That is two cast members from "Devil's Rejects" to pass away in less than a week. I don't know where Sid Haig is or what he is doing but I hope he is taking his vitamins.

    RIP Geoffrey

Didn't know him by name - but once I saw his picture a bunch of great movies all come to mind immediately - he was pretty awesome. Had no idea he was Juliette Lewis dad either. RIP
