Pitchfork premieres in theaters and On Demand Friday, January 13.

There's something about the way this was shot--it looks, I dunno, like a music video? Can't quite place it.

It doesn't help that it starts out like a music video either, but it looks pretty good. I like slashers so I'm game.

Looks OK, as long as it's gory, I'm in.

Looks like a lot of fisheye in the film.

I just finished watching this on Prime after I got home. For the first hour, I thought it was a surprisingly fun little slasher film, but I got bored during the last 30 mins when it turns into a torture flick. There's a scene where the killer is taunting a girl wrapped in barbed wire for what seems like forever, but when they cut back to the rest of the cast, they're in exactly the same spot we left them. They could have made it to the next county by then.

Still, the movie overall was a lot better than I expected, especially in comparison to a lot of the no-budget slasher dreck on Amazon Prime. Don't consider that a glowing recommendation. But hey, it's free on Prime and you can do a lot worse.
