    A diorama would be welcome! I heard a new Chainsaw doc was happening a while back (as well as Kim Henkels doc about Lou Perryman), maybe it could be included....

    Might come with a piece of the actual truck. A small piece of the door, upholstery, whatever. Too steep a price to be just some cheap toy or diorama.

    Well, when you look back at the Limited Editions for single-titles that come with some cheap toy, it's priced right. Personally, I'm not a fan of those releases.

    Well, whatever it was is now gone from amazon.com, but my pre-order is still showing in my orders, whatever that means.

    According to Dark Sky;

    "The full press release for TCM's 40th anniversary edition should be going out this week."

    About time. I'm surprised it has taken this long. Thanks for the info.

    Pretty lame, especially for $100. I'll stick to my $22 amazon preorder for the 4 disc version.

    And an apron! AND the limited edition poster which has now sold out! AAAND! The best BD art Dark Sky has to offer for this release!!

    I got my order in at Amazon for $65,so for me, that's worth it.

    ....But yeah. The truck looks wank!

    ^ That packaging actually looks pretty neat. I really like that blu-ray cover with the rearview mirror. But no way in hell I'd ever drop $99 on it. Maybe if it were $30? Definitely sticking with the $22.99 version. I'm buying this to watch the movie, not to stare at the gimmicky packaging.

    Kind of neat that it includes Eaten Alive, but I already own Dark Sky's 2-disc DVD release. If Eaten Alive were a blu-ray... I'd think about it.

    Seriously, this Limited Edition thing is REALLY going of the rails....
    Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of my favorites, but this is just getting ridiculous :D

    So the Maria edition just has the packaging, apron and poster? The discs/features are same?

    Wow, a paper truck; because when I think TCM I automatically associate the film with a truck... That looks terrible and nowhere near worth the price point they're asking. Are we sure this isn't a joke? I still don't see why that nice poster art isn't being used as the cover art for these releases either.
