I actually like that cover more than the original. I'll be purchasing this for sure.

Don't like the cover but can't wait to add it to the collection.

Will be adding NOTC to my collection. I, too, love the cover.

Awesome cover, really makes use of the tone of the flick.

The cover, the movie itself, the DVD, whatever you want, but one of the best things about it is the rare music! We need those tracks soon!

I have the soundtrack, easily rippable to mp3 form, but my upload maximum is about 4kb, so it's just a matter of working out best time to be able to get it up (heh), unless someone else out there has it? Some sweet tunes, for sure.

  11. This will probably be one of the 1st blind buys in a long time! I've heard nothing but good things about this picture.

Oddly, this cover actually is more catchy than the one-sheet poster (mind you, the original one sheet is a very classy poster but this thing captures the spirit of the film better :) )

The gun looks backwards because of the type of gun it is has an equal length in both directions from the grip (check Regina's out).

The gun (an Uzi) is fine. You can see the barrel on the front.

I think most of the good vibes come from nostalgia, for the film itself is rather predictable and mediocre. There are some fun moments for sure, but I would suggest a rental first to see if it's something you want to watch more than a couple times.

Bad news folks. I'm hearing from multiple sides that it is completely bare bones (not even the peppy trailer included!) and full screen transfer.

If this is a deal-breaker for many, that would be sad. The movie is the main thing, and owning the HD-broadcast full frame transfer for a year or two I can tell you with 100% certainty that its remastering looks superb.

Is it intended to be full frame? If so and if it doesn't chop off much info, I'm not worried. I'll still get it.
